1. What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum:

• Account data — if you sign up, we store your name, email address and profile image (via your email/password or Google sign-in).
• Activity data — upvotes you cast and tools you submit are linked to your account.
• Newsletter — if you subscribe, we store your email address for the newsletter only.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, referral source, device type).

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate the directory — showing your upvotes, reviewing your submissions, sending the newsletter you asked for and improving the site. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication sessions and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; signed-in features may stop working, but browsing the directory will still work fine.

4. Third-party services

Sign-in is handled by Google OAuth when you choose “Continue with Google”. Analytics are provided by Google Analytics. Each of these services processes data under its own privacy policy. Links to listed AI tools take you to third-party websites we do not control.

5. Data retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter, contact us and we will action it promptly.

6. Security

Data is stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure and transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and revise the date above.
