Automateed is an AI-assisted workspace for planning, drafting, editing and preparing books. A project starts with a subject, intended reader and book type, then moves through an outline, chapter drafts, visual choices and export. It is designed around a book project rather than a single chat response.
It can suit an author developing an initial manuscript, an educator preparing a workbook or a specialist organizing original knowledge into a guide. The useful input is the material you want readers to understand: your examples, observations, source notes and intended scope. Generating a longer draft is only one part of turning those ingredients into a coherent book.
The product offers outline and chapter generation, editable prose, instructed rewrites, and cover or chapter-image candidates. Supported workflows provide PDF, EPUB and DOCX exports. Book types include informational books, novels, storybooks and workbooks, with different setup requirements. Automateed’s help center separates chapters, covers, formatting, import, translation and export tasks, so use the guide for the project type you selected.
The wider service also includes audiobook, direct-sales, author-website and paperback workflows. Those are additional product areas with their own setup and eligibility. Downloading an ebook, publishing an offer on Automateed and submitting a title through your own retailer account are different steps; choose the route that matches how you intend to distribute the finished work.
Suppose you teach pottery and want to prepare a short guide to a first studio session. Supply your own class notes, the reader’s experience level and a clear boundary: preparing a workspace, understanding the sequence of a session and knowing which questions to ask the instructor. Review the suggested outline before generating chapters, removing material that falls outside your expertise or duplicates another section.
Generate one chapter and replace generic examples with details from your teaching. Check that terminology stays consistent and that later chapters do not contradict the opening. Add photographs you have permission to use or review generated illustrations for whether they accurately show the equipment. A plausible-looking image should not be used to demonstrate a technique it depicts incorrectly.
After editing the complete manuscript, export the relevant formats. Open the PDF to inspect page breaks and image placement, and check the EPUB in the intended reader. Ask someone unfamiliar with the class to identify unclear instructions. This is a suggested author workflow, not a claim that Automateed fact-checks pottery guidance or replaces subject expertise.
Read a generated manuscript as a whole. Repeated explanations, unsupported assertions and changes in voice can become visible only across chapters. A rewrite request can produce another draft, but the author still needs to decide which version is accurate and useful. Do not treat an attractive cover or completed export as evidence that a retailer will accept the book.
For print, consult the paperback guide: an ordinary reader PDF is not the complete printing package. The workflow also needs a validated interior, wraparound cover and page-count information, while shipping and final pricing depend on the destination. Review those files before promoting a printed edition.
Automateed offers a limited online book preview before a paid upgrade; it should not be read as a promise of unrestricted free book exports. The account guide distinguishes ebook, task and image credit balances, with separate top-ups. It also distinguishes recurring book access from author-website hosting. Check the correct balance and plan before starting another generation or adding a website.
Download important completed files before ending paid access. The account guide warns that generated-file availability after cancellation is limited. A short preview project can help you assess the editing and export workflow before expanding to a full manuscript.
