Brand Studio is Stability AI's creative production platform for generating and refining images within persistent projects. It combines new image creation with adjustments, inpainting, outpainting, reference-guided changes and asset organization. The former DreamStudio discovery address redirects to this current service, whose sign-in is managed by Stability AI.
Brand Studio is relevant to designers producing campaign images and teams that need to revise a visual direction across several assets. Some functions serve individual creators; brand governance and managed personalization belong to separately described enterprise access.
The getting-started guide documents generation or image upload, brightness and color adjustments, cropping, rotation, object removal and outpainting. Outpaint extends the scene around an existing image, which is useful when a composition needs space for another delivery shape.
Precision Inpaint combines a mask, a sketch and a prompt. The mask defines the area available for change, the sketch guides placement or shape, and the text describes the desired content. Rapid asset insertion provides another path: add images to the prompt context and describe the revision conversationally.
Brand Studio's style guidance describes reference-based Style Guides, presets and a Structure tool for composition. These address distinct questions about palette, overall appearance and placement. Managed custom product models are documented as a purchasable Enterprise add-on; they should not be assumed part of an individual subscription.
The Library documentation explains project containers, asset names, favorites, masks, sketches and saved process details. Keeping these together helps a designer return to an approved direction instead of relying on an exported image with no record of its setup. Team permissions and collaboration access should be checked against the selected plan.
Start from an approved product image and define the banner's target shape. Use Outpaint to add the needed surroundings, then inspect whether perspective, shadows and the product silhouette still work. If one prop needs changing, mask that area in Precision Inpaint, sketch its position and describe the replacement. Avoid regenerating an acceptable product simply to change a small background detail.
Save the source, mask and selected revision in a named project. Make small brightness or saturation adjustments, review the result at its actual display size and upscale after correcting defects. Stability's workflow guide also demonstrates exporting elements to another design editor for placement, so a complex layout may still involve external compositing.
A mask or reference guides a generation; it does not guarantee exact product geometry, typography or brand fidelity. Precision editing can need more processing than a simple adjustment. Review changed edges and factual product details before using an image in a campaign. Enterprise Producer Mode and Brand Central are separate plan features, and managed personalization has its own scope.
Brand Studio requires a verified account. Its plan guide describes a finite free trial, paid Creator and Core subscriptions, and custom Enterprise access. The billing FAQ says monthly allocations expire rather than roll over and paid users can buy top-ups. Check current account entitlements before a production run; a trial is not an unlimited free plan.
